The Interweaving Flow

800x240x60 cm , 2021

laser cut figurines, wire, clay, hard board

as part of Studio 3 Arts' Windows In commissions

The Interweaving Flow is a site specific installation, a formation that will connect two window sides of the exhibition space. During the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown we all witnessed a feeling of oneness, reminding us that we belong to the same world and its humanity while facing this troubled time that effected us all regardless of borders. Through the interweaving formation of this installation I’m trying to convey the idea of connectedness, the freedom of movement and mobility that these joined human figures represent. The architectural aspects of two windows pose two separate space that I’m attempting to connect through the movement of organic and fluid form that defy and cross borders.
